“The squeaky wheel gets the grease.” That’s an adage (or is it an axiom?) that gets thrown around a little too freely sometimes. It frankly misses the point that eventually the “squeaky wheel” becomes a frustration and is discarded on the scrap-heap.
The point? Squeak when it is actually something worth squeaking over–otherwise it becomes just another tirade in a long series of complaints.
