This page is a bit difficult for me to display, because since drawing it I have come to the conviction that depictions of God in human form are an incorrect thing to do. A violation of the second commandment (Exodus 20:4), or at least approaching that very closely. Now admittedly, this is God the Son, who did take on the form of a man–and it might perhaps be argued that this is a generic form based very closely on the description given by John.
But ultimately it IS what I drew during that particular time and so has some historic validity. But I probably could have put more “glow” around the face, at very least. I really liked the horse and speedlines in the background.
